How do I know if my Global Protect is updated?

During the upcoming Global Protect update, it’s important to verify that your VPN software has been successfully updated to the latest version. By following these step-by-step instructions, you’ll be able to confirm whether your Global Protect is current and ensure optimal performance. This check is quick and will let you know if further action, like a manual update, is needed.
For MAC users
1. Open your Global Protect app.
2. Click the three lines in the top right, then select Settings.

3. In the Global Protect settings, go to the About tab.

You can now check your Global Protect version. If it’s updated, you’re good to go!

If it’s outdated, please update it using the Self Service Portal.
For Windows users
1. Click the software tray in the lower-right corner of your screen.
      
2. Click the Global Protect icon to open it.
3. Click the three lines in the top right, then select Settings.
            
4. In the Global Protect settings, go to the About tab.

From here, you can view the version of your Global Protect. If it's up to date, you're all set!

If it's outdated, please update it via the Self Service Portal.
