Zero Client Configuration for OOB Clients - Manila Instructions

Configuring All-in-One Zero Clients for Out of Band Use


  1. Open a web browser and type in the IP address of the zero client.  This will open the Admin Web Interface (AWI). Note: The IP address can be found under Options -> Information and click the Network Tab.

  2. Out of the box there is no password to the AWI, click the Log In button.

  1. Hover the mouse over the Upload tab and choose Certificates in the drop-down list

  2. On the Certificate page, install the certificate provide by AQR IT by hitting the Browse... Button, select the certificate and click the Upload button. 

  3. Hover the mouse over the Configuration tab and choose Label.


  1. In the Label screen and in the PCoIP Device Name: field type in the name of the device.  The naming convention is WOBZEROCXXXX, where X is the next sequential number.  For example, the first machine built will be WOBZEROC0001 the next WOBZEROC0002.  Click the Apply button.

  1. On the next screen you have the option to either reset the device or continue, press the Reset button to reboot the device.

  2. Log into the AWI again.

  3. Hover the mouse over the Configuration tab and choose Management.

  1. On the Management tab, change the Security Level to High Security Environment.  Type in the URI address as follows:

Internal EM URI: wss://vt0zteram01.aqrcapital.com:5172

External EM URI: wss://access.aqr.com

Once the information has been filled in hit the Apply button.

  1. Contact AQR IT (Peter Heese) with the device Name, IP and MAC address of the computer.  AQR IT make sure the device is in the correct group and that the profile has been downloaded correctly.

Note: Once the zero client is in the management console the rest of the configuration will be updated.  This includes the password to change configuration and prepopulating the broker server.
