Guideline Details
Consultation
All team members may consult with an IO Doctor for any primary care concern. This initial virtual or in-person consultation allows a medical professional to assess the situation and provide an initial diagnosis and treatment plan.
Team members must assess consultation type based on their symptoms (e.g. colds, coughs, sore throats, fever, or any viral infections - virtual; general wellness - virtual or in-person).
Recommendation for Physical Consultation
Following the initial consultation, an IO Doctor will provide a recommendation if they determine that a physical, in-person consultation at an accredited clinic or hospital is necessary.
Team members are strongly advised to obtain this recommendation from an IO Doctor before scheduling a physical appointment at an accredited clinic or hospital to ensure a clear and documented primary care pathway.
If you have an existing personal doctor, you must let the IO Doctor know about any ongoing treatments. This is for documentation and helps make sure your care is consistent.
Exemptions for Emergency Cases
These guidelines do not apply to medical emergencies. In the event of a severe or life-threatening condition, team members should immediately seek care at the nearest hospital emergency room. An emergency is defined as a sudden, serious, or unexpected medical condition requiring immediate medical attention to prevent serious bodily harm or death.
Weekends and Philippine Holidays
IO Doctors are unavailable on weekends and Philippine holidays. Team members who require medical consultation during this time may visit accredited clinics or hospitals.
For non-urgent concerns, IO Doctors may be reached via email (infinitcare@infinit-o.com).
