SSS Maternity Benefits FAQs

A. When should I notify Infinit-O about my pregnancy and submit documents for the maternity notification?

1. Employee should inform her Team Lead and the HR Team of her pregnancy or as soon as the member knows about her pregnancy
   
2. Details and documents for the SSS maternity notification must be submitted at least within the 1st trimester or 2 months prior the expected due date of the member to avoid being processed with delays.

B. Can I get my Maternity Benefit in Advance?

1. Yes. The maternity benefit can be credited within 1-2 weeks after our Finance team receive the internal ML/LOA notification from the member's respective immediate Supervisor
   

C. Where can I get the internal ML/LOA form?

1. The internal ML/LOA form is attached on this page.
2. This should be sent by the member's immediate supervisor at least 1-week prior the start date of the member's official maternity leave. Must be sent to:
   
1. hr@infinit-o.com (Manila employees) or hrlgp@infinit-o.com (Legazpi employees) and ;
   
2. fa.support@infinit-o.com (Finance team)
   
3. Respective Manager of member and immediate supervisor
   
3.  This must be setn together with a copy of the member's SSS contributions records from their personal SSS online account

D. Can I cut my maternity leave short?

1. The answer is no and it is not advisable. As per Sec.3 of the Expanded Maternity Leave Law (R.A. No. 11210), the enjoyment of maternity leave shall not be deferred but shall be in a continuous and uninterrupted manner. Thus, a female worker shall fully enjoy her maternity leave, 105 or 60 days, as the case may be. If she returns to work during the unexpired period of her maternity leave, she shall not be paid for actual services rendered since maternity leave under R.A. No. 11210 shall no longer be commutable or convertible to cash.
   

E.  What is the process to avail of the extended maternity leave benefit?

1. You may avail of the additional maternity leave of (30) days, without pay. This can be availed by providing a written notice requesting for the extension. This must be given (45) days before the end of your maternity leave.
   
1. Please send the email request to your TL and Manager for approval if you want to extend your Maternity Leave and copy in the email hr@infinit-o.com and fa.support@infinit-o.com for notification.
