How do I get rid of the UPS noise?

This noise comes from the battery charging circuit. The Infinit-O UPS models use a switching or pulsed approach to charging the battery, and depending upon the pulse frequency, you might hear a faint hiss, buzz or squeal.

      1. Check the Placement: 

  1. Ensure the UPS is on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Avoid placing it in tight spaces or near vent blockages that could limit airflow.
      2. Inspect for Overheating:
  1. Make sure there is good ventilation around the UPS.
  2. Keep it away from heat sources like direct sunlight or heating vents.
      3. Reduce Power Load:
  1. Unplug all devices connected to the UPS.
  2. Turn off the UPS and charge it for at least 30 minutes before turning it back on.
  3.  Ensure that the connected devices do not exceed the UPS’s power capacity.
      4. Report to IT Helpdesk:
      If the issue persists after trying these steps, you need assistance from the IT team,
      submit a Service Request Ticket.
