Zscaler Troubleshooting Guide and FAQs

1. I cannot access a website / URL

If you encounter an issue with a web-based/internet-based system, you can temporarily turn off the internet security so you can validate if the issue is being caused by Zscaler or not. 
Please note that this will temporarily remove internet security for the purpose of troubleshooting and will automatically reactivate after 15 minutes



If validated that it is caused by Zscaler, please send a ticket to the IT Helpdesk. 

2. How can I confirm that the Zscaler app is working?

You may validate via https:ip.zscaler.com and check the details of your connection.
There is also a speed test there where you can verify the quality of your network. See details below:
Just click the Connection Quality and Start Test Button. The system will run a test and bring back the result after a few seconds. Results are also downloadable.




3. While browsing I am being tagged as originating from outside the PH (ie SG/US)?

This is normal as we are using the closest Zscaler data center to ensure a good user experience.
