I receive a notification that my password is about to expire. How do I reset?
JumpCloud passwords are set to expire after 90 days. If your password is nearing expiration, you will receive a notification indicating that you need to reset it.
You have two options to reset your password:
2. Log In: Enter your JumpCloud credentials to log in.
3. Navigate to Security: Click on "Security" from the menu options.
4. Select Reset Password: Click on "Reset Password" from the security section.
If you don't see this option, click "I don't see how, continue to portal."
5. Input Current Password: Enter your current password.
6. Enter New Password: Input your new password and confirm it.
7. Update Password: Click "Update Password" to complete the process.
1. Access System Tray: On your desktop, locate the System Tray (usually at the bottom-right corner of your screen).
2. Find JumpCloud Icon: Click on the JumpCloud icon in the system tray.
3. Select Password: In the JumpCloud menu, select "Password."
4. Enter New Password: Click on your existing password field, enter your new password, and confirm it.
5. Finalize Reset: Click "Continue" to complete the password reset.
